snow melts
on Cnoc Fhaoighris
a dream rests
between clouds and water
her path soothed by spirits

Thank you for your kind words Samantha ☺ This is Fyrish Monument which was built during the clearances under order of Sir Hector Munro to provide work for the people who were being cleared of the land. It is a steep hill to climb and it would have been hard work to get the stones up there. I have said quite a few prayers for those souls. 💖 xxx

Beautiful imagery Xenia in both tanka and photos. Is that a real ruin or a clever recreation?

Thank you for your kind words Denis. This is a folly that was built during the clearances (in 1782) and it is believed to have been inspired by the Gate of Negapatam in India.
