After the storm
snows and sands embrace
the softwood carried here
by river and sea
to bring warmth to the fire
for you and me.
When I ask you
about the birds
who rested on
your branches
you whisper a song
from the forest.

Ahh those whispering woods…many’s a time I have sat whilst the great Grandmother trees have whispered their wisdom to me. Wonderful as always Xenia.

Thank you for your kind words Denis, we do not see snow on the beach that often, only when the snow falls at low tide just before our walk ☺
