Haibun: Circle Of Love

As the tide flows out to sea the sandbar feels soft and forgiving. My heart leaps before I do and all sound disappears while I sprint away on a cloud.

When we run for fun there flows a deep understanding between us. In a sweeping curve we return to our companions and our hearts leap once more before we do.

love always
runs silently

    1. Thank you for your kind words dear Toni πŸ’– The life force that flowed through Basho and Issa is flowing through all of us today and it is in the silence that we can hear the impersonal part of ourselves. Have a blessed day and big hugs πŸ’žπŸΎπŸΎ

  1. So gorgeous the freedom and of soace and speed. If only all dogs had owners such as you. Here in Sri Lanka it breaks my heart to see many dogs kept in wooden cage things during the day and then let out only at night as guard dogs. So sad. Your photos are heartwarming.

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Peta. It is hearbreaking to see dogs being treated the way you describe and so sad when people fail to see the amazing love dogs carry for others. We retweet rehoming appeals from different shelters and animal welfare groups which is another simple action that can make a difference. Thank you so much for caring and much love to you πŸ’–
