when snow gates close
we return to the coast
low sun in bent grass
glances back for one more chance
to dance with the mountains

  1. Love the tanka…and the photos, of course ❤ I sent for a sweater for Finn, just had to move the buttons because he has such a deep chest but it looks good 🙂 Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend xxx

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words Cathy! So glad Finn can wear his jumper after a little adjustment :o) They closed the snow gates on the road to Braemar today and we are walking in the dunes and forests to stay out of the arctic wind. A lovely weekend so far, we wish you a wonderful rest of the weekend too xxx

  2. Lovely words-Pearl’s little face 🙂
We have had sunshine here, although it’s been very cold. Good job you are wearing coats…contemplated sweaters for the cats but a “look” from Charlie persuaded me otherwise…lol! : ) xxx
