  1. A very touching haiku Xenia and beautiful photos,( Again). I love the head above the rock. Tonight as we walked our beach path we met 3 rescue greyhounds. This is the saddest story at the moment in Australia. There has been so much cruelty and abuse in the whole greyhound scene here. The downside is many dogs killed . Banning of Greyhound racing is beginning to happen across Australia. The upside is many people taking dogs into their homes and often in pairs. After all they are just big Whippets and seem to spend most of the day sleeping, as Afghans also do.

    1. Thank you for your kind words Denis. I pray for the day when greyhound racing is banned across the globe as it seems that cruelty against these gracious hounds is not being stopped from within the sport. I am delighted that NSW have now banned greyhound racing and I hope many more will follow this example. Greyhounds deserve to receive the love and care they so willingly give to others. Many people are adopting those that have been saved and I pray for the day when all we hear about greyhounds is good news. Thank you for caring Denis and we wish you a wonderful rest of the day xxx
